Infernal Kinship – Meeting Loki, a long over due blog post!

I wasn’t meant to be in Manchester that night.

A mix-up from one of BAFOSatan’s original founders had me following the wrong trail, wrong time, wrong day. But something in the air told me to go anyway. So I drove up Route 66, dusk folding into darkness, the irony of the road name not lost on me. I didn’t arrive until 9pm, heavy with guilt. Loki had taken the entire day off work for me, and here I was, hours late, a stranger crossing thresholds uninvited.

But Loki, in true satanic spirit, met me not with disappointment, but with radical hospitality.

Their back garden was a scene out of a heretic’s dream: black candles flickering, Baphomet watching, sparkling wine poured beneath the night sky. I felt instantly grounded, like I’d stepped into a sanctuary built not on doctrine, but on understanding. This was no coincidence. This was initiation, whether either of us realized it at the time or not.

Later that night, we headed to Loki’s local, a gritty, familiar bar that would come to mean more than just a place to drink. It became sacred ground. The kind of place that collects memories and marks time. We would later return to it, side by side, to get tattooed, carving symbols into skin the way you carve trust into bone.

From the beginning, Loki welcomed me into their life without hesitation. No guardedness, no pretense, just instant kinship. I even mistakenly assumed Hex, another founder of BAFOSatan, already knew them. They didn’t. And yet, Loki became one of the most vital forces in our community.

Since that night, Loki and I have traversed the infernal landscape together. We’ve wandered Temple Tag in Germany, danced through La Palma’s Demon Run, and shared countless moments of shadow and fire. Ours is a twin flame connection: rebellious, mirrored, uncanny. Before their eye surgery, Loki had a -5 prescription and an astigmatism that perfectly inverted mine. We wear the same size 9 boots. We share the same disdain for conformity and the same hunger for truth in its rawest form.

Loki is now a facilitator at BAFOSatan, standing at the helm of a movement we both bleed for. Their strength, their vision, their unapologetic presence it all continues to shape our collective.

So no, I wasn’t meant to be in Manchester that night but in true Sitri and Loki fashion we were born within chaos. And in that infernal misalignment, I found my infernal counterpart.
